Become a champion
The Texas A&M Livestock Judging team has a heritage rich in success and tradition. The team has been crowned National Champions and brought home the coveted bronze bull 12 times! They win many other national contests each year.
The livestock judging program consists of seniors and juniors interested in competitive livestock evaluation. Students only have one year of eligibility to compete on the team with competitions running from December through the following November. The team attends the Griswold Classic (Stillwater, OK), National Western Stock Show (Denver, CO), Ft. Worth Stock Show and Rodeo (Fort Worth, TX), Dixie National Livestock Show (Jackson, MS), San Antonio Livestock Exposition (San Antonio, TX), and Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (Houston, TX) in the spring semester. They will then return for the fall semester and travel to the National Barrow Show (Austin, MN), State Fair of Texas (Dallas, TX), Tulsa State Fair (Tulsa, OK), American Royal (Kansas City, MO), and the North American International Livestock Exposition (Louisville, KY).
