Non-Reasons Camp
New Camp Format!
This is a new camp that will focus on the Texas FFA contest format; however, it is open to any 4-H and FFA member. We will have live classes of breeding and market animals in each species. Additionally, we will cover Keep/Cull, performance data, and feeder and slaughter cattle grading. Questions on each class will be emphasized throughout the camp, but there will be NO ORAL REASONS. Campers will have the opportunity to compete in a contest at the end of camp.
A chaperone is REQUIRED for each camper. Multiple campers can use the same chaperone, but they must have a registered chaperone with them at this camp. These individuals will go through all live classes, and have breakout sessions for coaching strategy and roundtable discussions.
