Meat judging team wins international contest

The Fightin’ Texas Aggie Meat Judging Team was privileged to be the only judging team from the United States invited to compete in the 2017 Australian Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia on July 3-9, 2017. COLLEGE STATION – The 2017 Fightin’ Texas Aggie Meats Judging Team is honored to have been invited to attend the 2017 Australian Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest in New South Wales, Australia. Farmers Fight! Texas A&M Wins Coveted Spirit Award at 2017 USEA Intercollegiate Championship

Livestock, wool teams reserve champions

Both the livestock and wool judging teams brought back reserve champion honors from their respective contests at the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo. In addition to reserve, the wool team also placed third overall with a second team. Beef Quiz Bowl & Academic Quadrathlon Teams place at NCBA

Introducing: The Texas A&M Eventing Team

The Eventing Team was founded by a group of students during the spring of 2016. Dr. Martha Vogelsang serves as their advisor. Eventing is the equestrian equivalent of a triathlon. The National Western Stock Show offers a once in a lifetime experience to the high individual of the collegiate livestock judging contest.
