Dairy Science Research
The focus of dairy research is to generate science-based knowledge to address challenges faced by the dairy industry including water and labor scarcity, manure management, and enhancing dairy cattle welfare and performance.
The dairy science research program revolves around comprehending the complex interplay between forage production and ruminant nutrition; disease prevention, physiology and productivity; and dairy cattle behavior and welfare. Through our multifaceted approach, encompassing research, graduate programs, and undergraduate opportunities we strive to foster a progressive and sustainable dairy industry.
