Howdy! My name is McKenzie Evans, and I will be serving as the Lamb and Goat Chairman for Animal Science Ambassadors this year! I am going into my sophomore year here at Texas A&M and I’m from Burnet, Texas. I was raised in a family that lives and breathes livestock. Through 4-H and FFA, I’ve had the opportunity to raise and show livestock from the ground up, which is what truly sparked my passion for animal science. I love learning about genetics, reproduction, and the small details that make a big impact in raising quality livestock. I’m excited to serve as Lamb and Goat Chairman this year, meet future Ags, and share why this industry and this major mean so much to me. Gig ’em!
