Texas A&M University is home to one of the finest equine science programs in the nation and provides valuable resources through equine extension. With a long history of teaching, research, outreach and service, Texas A&M has been a vital contributor to the equine industry for generations. The Department of Animal Science has been instrumental in providing the equine industry with knowledge and care that has advanced not only equine sciences, but also the welfare of countless horses and Texas A&M graduates the industry’s future leaders.
