Emeritus faculty are those faculty members who have retired from the Texas A&M University System. The Emeritus faculty designation is for professors who want to stay active in scholarship following retirement. This honor is made by recommendation of the chancellor and bestowed by the Board of Regents to recognize the achievements of this faculty member for their contributions to Texas A&M University.
