The Department of Animal Science competitive teams have officially started the fall season! The Texas A&M Livestock Judging Team recently competed across the country, gearing up for more contests ahead, while the Texas Aggie Rodeo Team hosted the 105th annual All-Aggie Rodeo.

Livestock Judging Team

The Texas A&M Livestock Judging Team started the fall semester competing at the Stockman Sort in Leedey, Oklahoma, on September 2, as well as the National Barrow Show in Austin, Minnesota on September 15.

National Barrow Show 

  • 3rd High Team 

The livestock judging team will compete next in the Flint Hills Classic and AKSARBEN. Other team members include Gunner Coburn, Keilee Day, Cooper Ford, Sara Jennings, Caitlyn Hobbs, Tate Hogan, Hunter Knudson, Hannah Mcelrath, Kendahl Nix, Kyle Real, Ethan Sanchez, Cooper Thompson, Taylor Turner, and Brylee Williams. 

The team is coached by Kyle Despain and John Reaves.

The livestock judging team will compete next in the Flint Hills Classic and AKSARBEN. 

Texas Aggie Rodeo Team

The Texas Aggie Rodeo Team hosted the 105th All-Aggie Rodeo on September 14 in Bryan. Friends, former students and supporters of Aggie Rodeo competed at the Brazos County Expo Center. The corporate partner for the rodeo was Bill Fick Ford. Results and sponsors are as follows:
