COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M AgriLife Extension hosted another successful Aggiefest Horse Judging Workshop which was held at the Thomas G. Hildebrand Equine Complex on October 14, 2017.
The workshop included live classes of performance and halter horses. Participants were able to listen to reason demonstrations given by former members of the Texas A&M Horse Judging Team.
“We really enjoy conducting the Aggiefest Horse Judging Workshop,” says Chelsie Huseman, horse program specialist. “It is the perfect opportunity for participants to ask questions and learn in a relaxed atmosphere. They can develop their skills under helpful guidance.”
Additional opportunities provided by AgriLife Extension to learn about horse judging, including new and improved online horse judging videos and summer horse judging camps, were also announced. Aggiefest Horse Judging Workshop is an annual event held every fall and is open to youth and adults. For more information, visit the equine science page.
