Stock Horse Team completes successful semester
Writer: Morgan Moreno The Texas A&M Stock Horse Team competed at three major events this fall, claiming many awards in addition to giving back to the community. In September, the team won the title of Champion Collegiate Team at the Stock Horse of Texas show in Bryan. Aggies named champions at Bryan Stock Horse of Texas show
By: Morgan Moreno Aggies win first stock horse competition of the season On Saturday, Sept. 25, the Texas A&M Stock Horse Team competed in their first show of the 2017-2018 school year. The Aggies took top honors as the Division I High Point Team over Texas Tech University. Senior captains, Lane Birkenfeld and Lisa Jordan, excelled in the non-pro division, finishing as second and third place all-around, respectively. Stock horse team has successful season
The Texas A&M University Stock Horse team has had a successful spring. At the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo, Stock Horse team members Anissa Cervera and Lane Birkenfeld paired with Texas Aggie Rodeo team members to compete in the Collegiate Ranch Rodeo Showdown. This was a head to head competition against Texas Tech University. Together, the Stock Horse and Rodeo teams brought home the Champion title!
