Haley Collins is a Lecturer in the Equine Section of the Department of Animal Science. In her current role she teaches several undergraduate equine science courses including ANSC 201, 221, and 316. In addition, she coaches and coordinates the Texas A&M University Horse Judging Team.
She earned her Bachelors of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in Animal Science with an emphasis in Biotechnology. She then went on to earn a Master of Science degree from Sam Houston State University in Agricultural Sciences with an emphasis in Equine Science. During her time as an undergraduate and graduate student she has been involved in numerous research efforts focused around equine physiology and performance. She is currently working on a PhD at Texas A&M University in Animal Science with a focus on Genetics and Breeding.
