Lauren Lee, a doctoral student in the Texas A&M University Department of Animal Science, earned national recognition at the 2026 Reciprocal Meat Conference, RMC, after presenting her research, “Efficacy of autogenous vaccination for control of liver abscess in Holstein steers.”

Lee was selected to deliver an oral presentation during the conference, highlighting the quality and impact of her research among peers and industry professionals from across the country. She also earned second place in the conference’s graduate poster competition, recognizing the scientific merit and effective communication of her work.
