Youth participate in 13th annual Horse Judging Camps

This year marked the 13th consecutive summer for TAMU to offer youth horse judging camps.  Two camps were offered at the Thomas G. Hildebrand Equine Complex and over 70 campers from Texas, Arkansas, Georgia and California attended. State 4-H Horse Show wraps up 57th year

The 57th Annual Texas State 4-H Horse Show was hosted in Bryan, Texas, at the Brazos County Expo Complex, July 20th – 27th. Over 325 youth from around the state showcased their horses in 40+ classes across multiple disciplines. Horse judging workshop hosted during Aggiefest

Lamb, goat camps bring hundreds of youth to Aggieland

This summer, 360 youth and 700 adults journeyed to College Station to attend the 2017 Aggieland Lamb and Goat Camps, making them the biggest camps to date. Lamb Camp was held July 14-16, and Goat Camp was held July 21-23. The camps offered instruction on showmanship techniques, proper facilities, selection criteria, nutrition and health, pre-show preparations, show day activities and exercise programs.
