Judging teams compete in Houston

Both the livestock and wool judging teams competed at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo™ judging contests. The wool team brought back reserve champion honors and the livestock team placed third. In addition to reserve, the wool team also placed fourth overall with a second team. Student participates in Canadian Provincial Contest Exchange

The National Western Stock Show offers a once in a lifetime experience to the high individual of the collegiate livestock judging contest. Every year the high scoring livestock judge is awarded a trip to the Calgary Stampede to judge the Alberta 4-H purebred beef heifer show, the Summer Synergy commercial beef heifer show and help with some of the junior livestock judging contests. February 8, 2016 – Congratulations to the undergraduate team from Texas A&M University! The team took top honors at the Southern Section Academic Quadrathlon, held in conjunction with the 2016 ASAS Southern Section Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas. Texas A&M Stock Horse Team wins reserve title

BRYAN — The Texas A&M University Stock Horse Team earned the reserve champion collegiate title at the Stock Horse of Texas Show held in Bryan on Sept. 26.
