Dr. Raymond O. Berry, a member of the faculty of Texas A&M University for many years, contributed significantly to establishment of the discipline of reproductive immunology through his pioneering studies involving embryo transfer to evaluate genetic factors affecting reproduction. For his outstanding contributions, Texas A&M University recognizes the work of this distinguished scientist through establishment of the Raymond O. Berry Memorial Lecture. This lecture series ensures that his contributions will continue to inspire students and faculty whose application of biotechnology to the field of reproductive biology contribute to animal agriculture and impacts the biomedical community. The Raymond O. Berry Memorial Lecture will be presented annually by a distinguished scholar in the field of reproductive immunology to address important issues in animal agriculture, veterinary medicine and human medicine.
