  • Class description – Physiological principles of reproductive processes in cattle, sheep, swine and horses including sperm and ova production, estrus, fertilization, gestation and parturition, techniques of semen evaluation and storage, estrous synchronization, embryo transfer and pregnancy determination.
  • 3 credit hour course offered in the fall, spring and summer session I

  • Class description – Physiological principles of reproductive processes in cattle, sheep, swine and horses including sperm and ova production, estrus, fertilization, gestation and parturition; techniques of semen evaluation and storage, estrous synchronization, embryo transfer/genetic manipulation, pregnancy determination and reproductive management.
  • 3 credit hour course offered in the spring
  • Prerequisite – Junior classification and eligibility for enrollment in an honors course (GPR of at least 3.50)
