Cross recognized by Food Technologists

CrossDr. Russell Cross, professor and head of animal science, received the 2014 Carl R. Fellers Award from the Institute of Food Technologists and Phi Tau Sigma during the organization’s annual meeting held in New Orleans in June. The award was presented to Cross for his outstanding work to improve the field of food science, inspire food engineers and scientists, and provide leadership. The Institute of Food Technologists serves as a voice for food science and a catalyst for change around the world, educating a variety of audiences from consumers and the media to the public policy community and government agencies.
