Brandi Bourg is among 12 students worldwide to receive the International Stockmen’s Educational Foundation Student Fellowship and is invited to attend the 2011 International Livestock Congress – USA in Denver.

Bourg is from Donaldsonville, La. working on her Ph.D. under the direction of Dr. Luis Tedeschi, associate professor, and plans to graduate in August 2011. She received her master’s degree in animal science with a focus on ruminant nutrition under the direction of Dr. Tedeschi in 2007. Bourg graduated from LSU in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in animal science.
