COLLEGE STATION, TX (May 13, 2008) - The inaugural Equine Symposium and Sale, sponsored by the Texas A&M University Department of Animal Science and Texas AgriLife Extension Service and held at the N. The day-long event targeted for horse enthusiasts of all disciplines featured training demonstrations from dressage trainer Paul Kathen, reining horse trainer Dell Hendricks, and reining horse trainer and Stock Horse Association founder Jack Brainard. Additional educational programs were presented by Texas A&M University Department of Animal Science faculty members Drs. Clay Cavinder, Josie Coverdale, and Dennis Sigler. The event completed with the Texas A&M University Horse Sale, which featured horses from the Tarleton State University, Texas A&M University, and Texas Tech University Equine Science programs.
