Hosting a School

Counties that desire to host a horsemanship school have the option of choosing a two-day or three-day school from the end of May through the end of June. Available dates are found on the request forms. Any 4-H or horse group, youth or adult, is welcome to submit a request, which is due January 31, 2008. The number of riders per school is limited to 30, in order to keep a low student to instructor ratio. Two-day schools cost $600, while three-day schools cost $800. For more information, please contact Teri Antilley, Horse Program Specialist 1, at 979-845-1562 or tjantilley@ag.tamu.edu.
