National Champion Meat Judging Teams from
 Texas A&M University
The TAMU Intercollegiate Meat Judging Team has won the International Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest, generally regarded as the annual National Championship of Intercollegiate Meat Judging, 14 times in the 57 years that TAMU has entered a team. TAMU Meat Judging records indicate that the contest began in 1926 and TAMU first entered the contest in 1939. The contest was not held during the war years of 1942-1945, and TAMU did not enter another team until 1949. We have entered a team each year since that time. -Dr. Davey Griffin
