Swine projects are always popular for youth producers to raise. Raising a swine project teaches the exhibitor about proper care and management for swine. Exhibitors can also learn about the pork industry through getting involved with youth swine project programs. In Texas there are over 40,000 pigs exhibited in junior shows throughout the year.
