It is equipped with modern laboratories, office spaces, comfortable lecture facilities, classrooms, conference rooms, and student study areas. Kleberg classroom facilities are equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment including desktop or laptop computer carts, LCD projectors, overhead projectors, 35 mm slide projectors, and video / DVD players. The Kleberg Center features two large lecture rooms that can accommodate 300 and 150 students, respectively. Each of the two lecture rooms feature cushioned, theatre-style seating and carpeted flooring. The first floor also includes four additional classrooms, suited for 60 to 98 students each. Additionally, the building has four conference rooms suited for seminar presentations, small group meetings, and other activities. The Animal Science Faculty Lounge is also located on the first floor and is available for seminar presentations and meetings with seating for up to 40 people.
The upper floors of the Center support a variety of laboratory research projects including meat science, sensory evaluation, dairy products, food and nutrition research, reproductive biology, breeding and genetics, and much more.
